Casa Vista
This is a spacious Spanish town house whose living accommodation is over three floors.
It has not been lived in for several years and is subsequently in need of some modernisation and minor renovation.
The double wood/glass front door opens into a lounge which features a wood burning fireplace with a wood burning fire inset.
A door from the lounge takes you into a dining room and a second door from the lounge leads into a utility area where there are some typical Spanish stone sinks and plumbing for a washing machine.
There are two doors off this utility area; one leads into a kitchen with some wall and floor units and the second into a cloakroom comprising of sink and toilet.
Stairs lead up from the lounge to a double bedroom which has a doorway into a second double bedroom which has the traditional Spanish beamed ceiling. A door from this second double bedroom takes you into a bathroom comprising of sink, toilet, bidet and bath with shower over.
Stairs lead up from the first double bedroom to an upper covered sun terrace from which you have spectacular views of the surrounding mountains / countryside / olive groves. Off this sun terrace there is a large room currently used for storage (ideal for sun chairs, table and barbeque for those lovely Spanish evening sunsets).
All necessary utilities are connected.
This is a wonderful property which has been priced in relation to the modernisation / renovation work required. This property would benefit from some re-organisation of the current room configuration and then it will be a beautiful family home or wonderful holiday home. A viewing is highly recommended for this exceptionally great priced property.
Castillo de Locubin is an up and coming town which is set in the mountains. Here there are all the necessary facilities such as: doctors, dentist's, some lovely bars and restaurants, various shops, banks with cash machines, a town hall, schools catering for ages from 3 years up to college age. There is a museum of how hospitals used to be, three supermarkets and a lovely river called the San Juan. Life is very relaxed here and the people are really friendly.
